Each year, our Director, Phil, commits his time and energy to charitable initiatives that create meaningful impact. Phil fundraises for the Perth Homeless Support Group (PHSG), a local charity dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness or living in transitional housing.
About the Perth Homeless Support Group
The Perth Homeless Support Group is a volunteer-driven charity working to transform the lives of vulnerable individuals in WA. Their mission is simple yet powerful: “See the need and make a difference, without prejudice.”
The organisation provides more than just food and essentials. Through its Community Model, PHSG creates a safe and supportive environment where people can share their stories, access essential supplies, and connect with the services they need to rebuild their lives.
Key initiatives include:
Preparing and distributing food and care packs.
Delivering outreach services to people unable to seek help themselves.
Educating individuals about available support networks.
Coordinating fundraising, donations, and community awareness efforts.
Phil’s Involvement With PHSG
Phil is more than a supporter - he is an active board member and a dedicated volunteer. Every Tuesday, he joins other PHSG volunteers to prepare and distribute care packs, connecting directly with the people who need support most.
By championing PHSG’s mission, Phil not only raises essential funds but also raises awareness of the challenges facing those experiencing homelessness in Perth. His leadership reflects the values of Griffiths Advisory: community, responsibility, and service.
